With his court appearances behind him, Trump is now hitting the campaign trail, including a stop in San Francisco next week. The June 6 fundraiser in the famously liberal city is hosted by two venture capitalists with tickets starting at $50,000. Political experts predict Trump will aggressively raise funds for his campaign.
A guilty verdict may have financially benefited Trump, as donations surged to his “Win Red” website, causing it to crash. The Republican presidential candidate is also offering a chance to win an autographed MAGA hat in exchange for donations.

According to the SF Standard, Arjun Sodhani, a Republican and loyal Trump supporter, no longer follows the news, believing it to be mostly false and depressing. However, on Thursday afternoon, one story caught his attention when someone informed him about Trump’s guilty verdict on 34 felony charges related to falsifying business records concerning a hush money payment to Stormy Daniels.
“I didn’t know until somebody called me and said, ‘Hey, did you hear the news?’” Sodhani recalled.
While money is crucial in a presidential campaign, Trump also needs to secure a key segment of voters, especially in swing states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Winning over undecided voters across the country is essential.
Though donations are flowing in now, it’s uncertain how Trump’s conviction and potential sentencing will impact long-term fundraising.
