(KRON) — Ralph Lauren is an iconic American clothing retailer that owns the iconic Polo Ralph Lauren brand. The New York City-founded company has been expanding beyond its already-popular clothing products.
Ralph Lauren opened its first “Ralph Coffee” in New York City in 2014 and is now opening the first one in Northern California.
Ralph Coffee is opening at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto on Thursday, April 16, the retailer confirmed to KRON4.com. The cafe’s debut marks the second Ralph Coffee in California, joining Newport Beach.

Popular SF Japantown matcha spot opening first East Bay location
The cafe is also a Ralph Lauren store that will sell both men’s and women’s clothing, the company confirmed. The store spans approximately 5,200 square feet, according to city records. Ralph Coffee is located next to the Apple store and Neiman Marcus.
Palo Alto is Ralph Coffee’s ninth location in the United States. Palo Alto and Newport Beach are the only ones located west of Chicago.
The cafe serves its own Ralph Lauren-branded coffee beans, called “Ralph’s Roast.” According to Ralph Lauren’s website, the beans are roasted and packaged in Philadelphia by La Colombe.
