SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Showers arrive in the Bay Area Monday with heavy rain possible into the afternoon for many areas. Expect cool temperatures in the 60s for our daytime highs.
More rainfall follows on Tuesday as well as the potential for thunderstorms.
“Lightning, locally heavy rainfall, and small hail are possible,” the National Weather Service said of Tuesday’s forecast. “Localized flooding may occur within thunderstorms.”
Rainfall totals will exceed an inch for many areas, nearing 2 inches for some.
A few lingering sprinkles fall on Wednesday morning before dry skies the rest of the week.
