(KRON) — Two people were hospitalized after a house fire broke out in Saratoga Wednesday morning, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded at 5:36 a.m. to a two-story home involved in flames in the 20300 block of Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. Crews have shut down the roadway between Aloha Avenue and Carnelian Glen Court.

Fire officials said two patients were transported to the hospital and will be assessed for smoke inhalation.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family, according to SCCFD.
